Jim was the co-pilot in a trainer RAF Meteor when it crashed on the Hog's Back. The pilot was killed. He remembers waking up in the wreckage, flames licking around, and a woman from a nearby house splashing through a lake of fuel shouting "my rhubarb, my rhubarb".
